SmartVote 2011

The Rideau Institute is organizing a unique opportunity for non-profits, NGOs, ENGOs, and trade unions to engage in the next federal election campaign.

SmartVote is a “war room” for extra-parliamentary groups who wish to advance their policy goals during the election through shared election strategic analysis and media communications.

Based on its success in 2008, SmartVote 2011 offers groups the ability to collaborate, exchange analysis, coordinate activities, and promote their views.

It is a non-partisan, issue-based project intended to foster better networking and the sharing of information and resources among like-minded organizations.

SmartVote is not a coalition that takes common positions. Rather, it assists each individual group to advance its policy goals through collaboration.
